I want to burn some CDs but every time I try to, a message comes up when I insert a blank cd to burn. It tells me to "insert a cd with sufficient space". The CD is brand new. It's blank. why is this happening? do I change some settings?

Is this a new problem? Did this drive ever work?

Does the drive read OK?

Are you sure that the CD's are compatible with the drive?

What software are you using? Have you tried uninstalling/reinstalling it.
