Thanks for the prompt answer, I think it sounds as if fixing the registry may do the trick. However how do you add things to the hkey_local_machine\software\microsoft\windows\curr entversion\webcheck directory, mine doesn't have the 'loadsens'=auto' and 'loadlce'='auto' in there, if I try to add them as a key they appear as a sub directory of webcheck, if I highlight an item in the webcheck directory I get a string available, using the edit pulldown,but didn't like to enter the details as it might delete what was already there, if I don't highlight something there is no string available to use.
