i have tried a number of times to turn caps lock off before i log on to the computer. the caps lock light goes on and off but the letters still stay upper case. ive checked the keyboard setting, but im not sure what else to do. once you logon you can type as normal turning the caps lock on and off

Are you shutting down the PC with caps lock switched on or is it just turning on itself when you switch the PC on?

Have you got a new keyboard and, if so, did the problem occur when you had the old keyboard as well?

You can also check if there is some "sticky keys" problem under My Computer. Just a guess, probably wont work, but whatever.
