Are they BIOS errors or errors from within 98 SE?

In other words when the mouse is not detected is this reported in the BIOS or in Windows?

Any problem with the keyboard? Can you scroll with the arrow keys?

Not sure where the error message came from, I havent seen it, going on what Darrell said he saw.
Can scroll with the arrows on the keyboard and by clicking the arrows in the browser window.

At least for now, seems to be doing fine. Will play with it for a few more days (thru the weekend) and see what happens.
That is how we installed it originally, so not sure if this fix will last or not.
