I downloaded WMI Tools for my Windows 98SE. When I click on Scan Now, The download window comes up again. When I click on "open" the download window flutters and goes away then in 1-2 seconds, comes back again. Clicking on open again repeats the cycle. It doesn't run.

What am I doing wrong? How can I use the Hardware Scan?

Where are you (what interface) when you get the "Scan Now" choices etc? I have had WMI installed now for a while and have never seen anything concerning it since I installed it. I've even forgotton why I installed it.

Can you provide more information regarding this? In the meantime, does any of this help?
