Hi Everyone -

Seemingly out of nowhere, I have started having repeated problems with system resources.

It seems to happen when I try to open multiple windows of Microsoft Spreadsheet. I get a message saying I'm low on memory (or resources) and everything goes wacky (all the icons on the desktop look weird, I can't open the start menu - I basically have to reboot).

The weird thing is, I've been doing this for months without these problems.

To try to solve it, I've done the following:

-Run 6 different antivirus problems
-Run disk cleanup
-cleaned up the restore files

Nothing seems to work. As far as I know, I haven't installed anything between when I didn't have the problem and today.

Any help?

I had run AdAware and Spybot S&D, but it hadn't solved anything.

I'll run HJT and post the log in the appropriate forum. Thanks.
