    Unhappy windows 98 & ipod - nothing's going right

i posted once about whether or not it was possible to use an ipod with 98, but the answers i got i dont understand. they said to use ephpod, but ephpod isnt finding my ipod. i cant find a driver to run the ipod on my 98. the ipod itself is telling me to run a program from dalavitz (??) so that i can run this mac device on windows. it already is windows configured. it says so in the ipod settings. mediamonkey and ephpod are not letting me do anything. they cant find the ipod. my comp can find it, but again the driver is not there. im just a novice... dont know what to do. the ipod setup cd is also not working. it wants a 2000/me system. i hope someone can help. im not quiting til this jobber works. also... i was able to get the ipod to work on the computer it was first hooked up to... i said in the other post that my brother gave me this ipod. i also got it to work with real player 10. 98 of course cant download real player 10 i dont think.

help help. thank you ahead of time (i hope)

Well, if the device requires/is designed to work with an O/S greater than 98, that's pretty well what you need to have.

What is the Make/Model # of the device?
