Brought a second hand laptop a few weeks ago (samsung v7000) on windows 2000, working ok except for every hour or so it would re-start for no apparent reason. Turned it on a couple of days ago and it seems to be stuck in some sort of boot up loop, it turns on goes through the boot up stage and then just before windows has properly loaded it restarts back to the begining, have left it on for about 30 mins to see if i could get lucky and it would load but it wouldnt, have also tried every other boot up process Safe mode etc. but nothing, its sooo frustrating! any advice would be welcome, I havent a copy on cd of windows 2000, it came already installed would buy one if that was definatley the problem, Help!

The laptop should have had a Recovery CD & or a Recovery partition on the hard drive.

In searching Samsung V7000 I only come up with a CD/DVD drive ... are you sure that this is the model of the laptop?
