Please describe your problem. What happened?
Were things OK before? What changed?
Do you know what graphics card you have?
Also check the Device Manager: go to start/run/ devmgmt.msc for any "!" by Display Adapters.
Also try: Start/Run/ dxdiag | Display
What is listed as Device? What as Driver?
-
Your online hardware scan report shows that the graphics "card" that you have is a VIA Tech VT8361/VT8601 Graphics Controller, which is actually an on-board graphics chip built into the motherboard rather than being a separate card. However, the driver that it is using is called VGA.SYS, which is basically the default Windows 2000 VGA driver. You need to re-install the driver for the on-board graphics chip.
Do you have the driver CD that came with your PC? If so, chuck it in and see if there's an install process on it that allows you to easily re-install the graphics.
Alternatively, you could try running Windows Update or going to the VIA web site (or the PC manufacturer's web site) to see if there is a newer driver available.
Let us know how you get on
