Downloading mobile phone chip
I was here a few months ago and very grateful for your help. I wondered if you could help me out again. I have an ImageMate 5 in 1 reader plugged into a USB port. We have successfully downloaded photographs from a digital camera without any problems. My son wanted to download the contents of his mobile phone and although the download was OK and the files show as being there, I keep getting a message saying Windows Media Player cannot open the files. The majority of files have a .3gb extention. I have had a quick look at the troubleshooting pages but I'm not very good at understanding the terminology.
Any genius's out there?

Are you sure that this is the exact extension: .3gb ?
Also: is this the device:

What is the phone make & model?
Do you get the option to let windows search for an application that will open those files?

All OK now Jephree, through reading different links and info on .3gp, a friend tried to open them with quicktime and it worked. Thanks for your reply though. Much appreciated.
