    Re: System Restore

    OK, thanks.

    The two entries;
    Logo=1
    BootMenuDelay=30

    are in the file twice, both reflecting different values from thier counterparts.

    LOGO is the windows "splash screen" which you see when the system is first booted up and loading windows. LOGO=0 means OFF, LOGO=1 means ON.

    BootMenuDelay=Number (Default setting is 30 seconds)
    This setting is used to set the number of seconds your system will pause on the MS Startup menu. I'd remove the two duplicate entries at the end of the file, and set these two elements (above the block of "x's") to whatever is your choice. Other than that, the file looks fine. Crowded, but fine.

    (BootKeyes=0 should be BootKeys=0, and I would set this to 1. A setting of 1 enables the use of the function key boot options (that is, F4, F5, F6, F8, and CTRL). A setting of 0 disables the use of these function keys during the boot process.

    I thank you so much for following up on thee msdos.sys log. I did not know what to do with the duplicate files. I removed them. I do not use the boot keys, except "Delete " to bios.

    I have sort of messed up my computer when I formated into 2 drives. If you see the HJighjacthis I may have my boot set to C incorrectly. maybe everything needs to be D: HJT does not show my program files on D:
    With gratitude. Avie
