Dear Members,

I have two problems with my WinMe:

1) When I click (> Syst.Info> Tools>) Fault Log = Failure launching WordPad

2) When I click shortcut My Network Places = Explorer caused error in shell32.dll

I re-loaded WinMe (from Start> Run), but nothing changed! What to do?
I'm greateful for your help and promise to help others in need!

Do you get the same problem if you right-click this web page then click View Source ?

No, I don't get the same problem (failure lounching WordPad) if I right-click this web page then click View Source ? It opens a whole page of data...

Yes, I knew that link from MS,but I my OS hasn't the same symptoms. There was no "Plugin.exe from the Startup folder or from the "load=" line in the Win.ini file in the Windows folder".
There was only a checked box with "load=" written. I unchecked it, restarted PC, but shell32.dll error message still comes up...
MS's knowledge base is pretty poor and useless, isn't it?
