I am trying to install a 2.0 USB PCI Card to my HP 8490 and I keep getting the following:
It loads about half way and then I get 'not responding', I am now receiving that message when trying to install or untinstall things. I have called MCafee, because everyone kept saying that it was my virus software, Mircrosoft said the same thing. I talked to Hp (@$70.00 for 30 minutes) and basically got nowhere. They only thing they did was tell me to try different slots. I did in fact, delete all of the MCAfee and ran registryfix.com and I still get the same response.. Is this a software or hardware problem and how can I fix it? I am running windows me.

Any help will be much appreciated...
