When I click on a URL in an email viewed in Outlook Express, or in an MS Word or Excel file, the system no longer takes me to the appropriate web page.

I think this happened when I downloaded FoxFire browser which set itself as my default browser even though the default setting was shown as Internet Explorer. I therefore uninstalled FoxFire but this non-functional URL problem remained.

I tried 'repairing' MS Office using the installation CD but that made no difference. How can I get this working again?
