You really haven't provided much information, nor a specific question.

Is this a laptop?

If so, don't you have a charger or a docking station which will recharge the battery?

Or, do you have a charger and the battery is not accepting a charge anymore?

It is Dell Laptop Latitute CPI / Window 98

The charger light is green but the battery is not accepting charges...

If all connections/settings are correct and tight;

either the battery has reached the end of its life, or the charger isn't doing its job anymore.

Latitude CPi batteries only last 400 cycles (recharges) If you left the battery in the laptop the whole time you have just over charged and burned out the battery. The CPi batteries that came with the laptops have this problem.
