Help with Earthlink TotalAccess 2005 Mail
Could someone please tell me how to get my e-mail to download to my Inbox in this version of Mailbox and Webmail. For some unknown reason it stopped downloading messages from the server a little over a week ago. The browser portion of Earthlink seems to work flawlessly and I believe my e-mail account settings to be correct but when I click on "check mail" I'm not getting any results.

Well, not an Earthlink customer myself, but found the following on their support site:
Sometimes you can send email without a problem, but for some reason you have trouble retrieving email. Very often this is because one or more of the emails your program is trying to download has a large attachment with it, and the sheer size of the attachment is causing the email program to get stuck. Fortunately, you can easily fix this problem using WebMail.
And the link to the WebMail tutorial is http://kb.earthlink.net/case.asp?article=10825

I contacted Earthlink tech support last Friday via online chat. They discovered that someone had gained access to my Webmail account preferences and instructed it to forward all my email messages to another address. I was able to delete the unauthorized entry and am again able to download messages. I was forced to change my email address and password with Earthlink to hopefully precluse a recurrence of the piracy. But thanks for your input.

Blimey - that's shocking!
I sure hope you don't have any usernames and passwords for Internet Banking, online shopping accounts, web space hosting accounts, etc in your Inbox or you could be seeing some rather dire consequences for a long time yet! If that happened to me, I wouldn't just be changing my email address, I'd be changing email providers.
