I am running windows 98 with office 97 on an old HP pc and when I shut down I get the following message: 'A Fatal exception 0E has occurred at 0187:BFF9DFFF the application will be terminated' This proves to be an annoyance rather than anything else as the overall performance doesn't seem to be affected, and it always starts up ok afterwards.The HD is fairly empty as I recently carried out a complete re-formatting and clean installation of the OS and office software and downloaded all the updates.That is about all that's on it.I was wondering if anyone has experienced this type of error before and could offer any advice???
