I use this neat little app:

    http://www.wisepixel.com/

The Standard key is Print Screen to the right of F12

    Hope this helps.

You can do a screencapture by hitting "Print Screen" (top row of the (standard) keyboard, RH end). This will place the current screen image onto the clipboard. Open your image editor (Paint ("C:\Program Files\Accessories\MSPAINT.EXE") or c:\windows\pbrush.exe) and choose File New. Adjust the image size to match your screen resolution first. Then do a PASTE into the new image file. Your screen capture should appear as the new file. Save as desired.

To capture ~only~ the ~current window which is open over the desktop~ as opposed to your total screen, do ALT-PRINT SCREEN.

    Hi FK

On some machines its coupled with the Insert key and labelled 'Prt Sc', possibly in different coloured text. It may be operated in conjunction with a similarly coloured 'fn' key extreme lower left.

If you manage to save the image it will be in bitmap form, a huge file, so it needs re-saving as .jpg if you intend to email it.

    Regards,

    H

    Hi F..K

When the item you want is on screen just press Fn/Prt Sc if thats what you have. That will capture everything visible exactly as you see it. (To just capture the active window part of the image press alt with the other two)

The image is now in your clipboard file, as if you had done a Control/C on some text.

Now open Pbrush.exe, do Edit/Paste. It may say the file is bigger than the space, do you want to enlarge the space, say yes and your image will present.

Do File/Save As, choose a place to put it and set the type to JPEG, then save.

The jpg will be where you put it.

    Regards,

    H
