Windows 98/ IE6 Spotresults Redirect
I have tried to download and run adaware, spybot, pcdoctor, and others but cannot remove this virus. I am able to open my IExplorer but when I search for results the spotresults.com page is opens instead of the results. I can open the pages I have bookmarked but cannot search for results. Below is the hijack log I found. Thanks, Kyle

Hi Kyle,
I'm not a HJT expert or advisor, but the 01 items on your log show your Hosts file is redirecting searches for msn, netscape and ieautosearch to the same IP, owned by Rackspace whoever they are. So unless you've made that modification to your hosts file, in your position I'd check the 01 items and have HJT fix them. If they come back on reboot you've got another bug outside my skill area to comment on.
Regards,
H
