A few days ago I was having problems with my Windows Me, so I reinstalled it from my CD. But ... when the reinstallation was complete, i found that I had lost all my files and programs from my desktop and hard drive. From wandering around the 'Net, I have found out that it is quite to actually, really, totally lose your info, etc, even after a reformat. It is just hiding somewhere. Like a total twat I forgot the golden rule, and did not create backup CD's. Can anyone help me to recover my lost info and progs. If I need some software to do this I will try to download it from Kazaa. But ... can anyone help me to get my stuff back right now ... Puhhhleeez?!?!?!

Did you reformat before you re installed windows? If so, alot of the stuff will be unrecoverable but you can try. Heres one that you can try, there are plenty to choose from. http://free-backup-software.net/reco...delete-com.htm
