Hope someone can help,every time I'm on computer,it sticks then blue screen comes on with fatal error exception oe has occurred at 0167:BF9DFFF,I press any key to get it going then it does it again so I switch off and start again.I'm a novice at computers so if anyone can help can you give me easy instructions.

Sounds to me as though a format and reinstall are warranted. Make sure you have the Win98 installation CD/disks.

Boot into dos and type c:/ format and follow the instructons. Then reboot and insert CD and install your Win98 again.

Tuff one, but if this happens when u are working with your pc or the pc has been idle for a while chances are pretty good that Msgsrv32 causes an error in kernel32.dll.

Probably wanna have a look at http://support.microsoft.com/default...;EN-US;q169987 and follow those instructions there.

If that doesn´t work out then reinstall
