Graphic Problems
Hi
I recently reformatted my PC (which runs Windows 2000) and it only displays in 16 bit now. I went into Control Panel > Hardware > Device Manager and theres a caution on the VGA Controller thing, It says '(VGA Compatable) which so does my other pc and my mates, yet i click its rescourses and the 3 things have red lines through them, I'm not sure how i can resolve a conflict, because the options underneath the rescouses are'nt clickable.....

Boot the computer to "Enable VGA Mode".
Go to Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs.
- Find your video driver package & uninstall
While in Control Panel, go to System, Hardware
Device Manager. Expand (Click +) besides Video
-Any devices listed, Right Click, Choose Uninstall
Reboot the Machine - It will re-detect your video card
Re-install the drivers
Go back to Device Manager and change your monitor
definition to the correct vendor/model.
