I can't play music on my computer. we just upgraded to a cable modem on my computer. But when we had dial up, i could go on any radio or music hosting site (mtv, yahoo, etc.) and play music. But now , no matter what, i can't listen to internet radios. HELP!!! I'm so confused.

Can you put in a music CD and confirm that you can still hear that?

yes, i can play cd's , i just can't launch radio music sites, or any thing of that nature.

When you upgraded to a cable modem, did you have to change your ISP or move onto a different package with the same ISP? It might be that your DSL modem package is restricted so that you can't use up too much bandwidth - in other words, the ISP might somehow be stopping subscribers from listening to radio sites so their network doesn't get clogged up with everyone listening to the radio on the Internet as well as doing the usual emailing, downloading, etc.

Would be worth having a quick chat to your ISP to see if they are causing the problem.
