run32dll.exe missing
Just to let you know - I posted a message regarding this on 11Jan05 on Jazz's thread, before reading about the hijack log etc etc.....
I then read what I should have done in the first place & downloaded the spyware & ad-aware & run the tests.... infections were found & the files were deleted since then I cannot even access the internet or do anything. I tried my system restore but it just says it is unable to restore to the requested date. I also tried to restore the files I deleted but still having no joy - therefore unable to send you anything.
I am now on a new computer.... with my other one defunct (we needed a new one anyway) - would still like to try & rectify the problem as by son could use our old pc - any suggestions???

Could you please download HiJack This on your new computer and then copy it onto the old one, run it and it will create a log file. Copy and paste the log file here. That will show us what is starting up when you load your PC - it sounds like there's still an issue that Spybot and Ad-Aware couldn't resolve but we can probably fix it manually

I downloaded the adware etc and it seems that caused even more of a problem because I cannot even access the internet now so unable to do anything - this is a new computer that we went and got as mentioned above.......the main problem is I have quite a few photos on the old computer that I cannot access anymore...kerput!

Sounds like you had problems that Ad-Aware detected in your Internet connection settings, e.g. the number you use to dial up to your ISP or the page that you see first when Internet Explorer opens, or something like that. In removing the problem, which is Ad-Aware's job, it broke your Internet connection because it couldn't reset the problematic setting to what it should be.
Can you download HiJack This on the new PC and then record it onto a floppy disk or CD or USB drive, etc. so that you can get it onto the old PC to install it?
