I was reinstalling Windows 2000 on my computer and it froze. I restarted and it froze in the install again. It freezes @ configuring com+. It doesn't matter how ling I wait it just stays there.

welcome to dal the online computer help forum tou might be able to boot your computer by pressing f8 at start up if this works click on the link under my signature called owens help and follow the advice then posta fresh hijack this log as your problems may be spyware related but as soon as we have a look at your hjt log we will know

Adidar83, it would help us to know why you were re-installing Windows 2000 and whether you formatted the hard disk or were just re-installing over the top of your previous Windows 2000 installation.

If you were re-installing Windows because of problems you were having with your original install, it would assist us to know what those problems were as they might be at the root of your current issue with the re-installation.
