Hi,

I went to MSN Windows updates to and found five update to install. However the installations failed.

Recently, I followed instructions from this forum to get rid of search extender and made modifications to some of the RPC options.

Is this what is preventing me from installing these updates?

What's the error message when Windows Update doesn't work? How far do you get - are you able to agree to the licencing agreements and download the files? Does it fall over when you see the progress bar going across the screen, when it's extracting or installing the files it has downloaded?
