I know about proxy servers, of course. But this doesn't work when trying to block ones ISP from displaying on internet message boards. Can anyone tell me how to do this, and have just a few numbers or something else display?

How do you mean?

My Internet Service Provider is Shaw Cable, Vancouver, and that's what is displaying on this particular message board when I post there. (vc Shawcable ca)

I've been doing some research and think I'd probably need a shell server to bypass this. In which case, it's not worth the effort.
