I have a Dell Optiplex GX110 Pentium III Processor: 733 MHZ

I had a Compaq 7470 and the motherboard died. When I got the above Dell the computer techs moved my hard drive, memory and r/rw drives to the Dell. Everything worked properly until just recently. My computer will freeze and I have to control, alt delete to restart, when it restarts it says secondary hard disk 0 and secondary hard disk 1 not found. I have a choice of F1 to continue or F2 to go to setup. When I continue and restart it does not include the R/RW drive. What can I do to get Windows to keep this drive active? My R/RW drive when it is on is shown as IDE-CD R/RW 4x4x24.

i think i would start by updating my drivers for the optical drives (cd r/w)
