can i reload windows98 without losing all the softwares that i hav already loaded.some of them are trial softwares.
a virus named "pesin-1' has infected a win system file "systask" which cant be removed or deleted.
i hav AVG v6.0 fre edition Antivirus installed on my pc.
pls suggest any other remedy.

You really need to get rid of the virus because just reloading over the top will still have the virus there. Go to Trend Micro in my signature and run their free sca, it may be able to clean it for you.
