i just got my computer working again. its windows ME, but the colour has been reduced to 16 colours, but it used to be true colour. I have tried tirelessly but cant find the right drivers for it.

any help would be greatly apreciated.

If you came with pre-loaded software you should have a backup CD for reinstalling device drivers and utilities etc.

Maybe you could find help there?

Also, have you tried Windows Update to see if there is one available there?

ya, I did have a back-up disc, but i cant find it, and this colour skeme really sucks.
Is there any other way? or am i doomed to bad colour

i was reading thru some previous threads and found out that i needed to find my chipset, so I did and it was an SiS 530
it also said to go to the SiS website, so I did, and eventually found what I was looking for. I HAVE COLOUR AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
