You kindly directed me to a site where I downloaded the driver as you adised and thank you, I have 256 colours and upgraded to ME.

My modem is not being detected. It is a PB 6333, Pegasus motherboard, Sound ES1689 and the modem FDV 56K v90.

I presume I will also need a driver for the sound as well?

I did not make things easy for you. I have 3 pcs. The one I am using to type this is COMPAQ with no problems which is why I can access your post. The PB machine I cannot get on the web because I cant find the appropriate modem driver, nor use your link.

The PB machine is Club 6333. I asked a comp tech to remove all PB software etc as it was causing too many problems. I upgraded from WIN98 to ME once I used the last thread to get 256 colours.

32MB RAM
Video - SIS 5598
Sound - ES 1869
Modem - FDV 56K v90

I upgraded the RAM and it now has a 80GB.

I am confused as to why you think it is an imedia (I did have an imedia once upon a time but it was finally written off by PC Performance. Never bought another PB after that.

I am confused, upgrading to ME - would that change the modem that is internal?

I am desperate to get this PC on WWW becuse it belongs to my 7yr old and he is using mine (which I hate!!).
