Oh, blimey, I can see what's going on now !!

You've actually got TWO hard disks inside your PC and there's a ton of stuff on both of them. There IS plenty of free space, you just need to get your files in the right place to make use of where the most space is.

Your C: drive and your E: drive are both partitions on one hard disk and the F: drive is the only partition on your second drive, the 80Gb Maxtor hard disk.

I would suggest, first of all, moving your "My Documents" folder to your F: drive. To do this, follow these instructions:

    1. Reboot your PC and don't open any programs after you've logged on.
    2. Right-click on the "My Documents" icon on your desktop.
    3. Select 'Properties' from the context menu.
    4. When the Properties screen opens, click the 'Move' button on the Target tab.
    5. In the browse box, double-click 'My Computer' and then double-click the F: drive.
    6. Click the 'New Folder' button.
    7. Name the folder My Documents.
    8. Double-click the new My Documents folder.

Keep pressing OK on each screen and confirm that you want the files to be moved from the C: drive to the F: drive if it asks you.

Double-click the 'My Documents' icon on your desktop to confirm that all of your files are still in the My Documents folder, even though you've just moved its location.

Go into Windows Explorer or My Computer and check the Properties of the C: drive and the F: drive to make sure that the Free Space on C: has increased and the Free Space on F: has gone down.

Hopefully, that will have given you quite a bit more room where you need it.

The 'My Documents' folder isn't on the C: drive any more. We've moved it from the C: drive to the F: drive and, as you've seen, we've now got a lot more free space on the C: drive because there's about 600-700Mb of files that aren't there any more

That should keep you going for a while, as long as you don't continue to install more software or data onto the C: drive.
