Missing sys.ini file on bootup
Currently running win98se on my p.c. After a system crash (I DO NOT SUGGEST DOWNLOADING P.C. BUG DOCTOR)...Upon startup, it says i have a missing sys.ini file, press any key to continue. I am able to get past this, but i believe it is the cause of internet explorer frequently throwing up error reports, and my p.c. locking up.
Anyone have similar problem, or suggestions?HELPPP!!!!

Using Windows Explorer, have a look in the C:\Windows directory and C:\Windows\System directory for a similarly named file. You might find that the installation of PC Bug Doctor renamed it to Sys.bak or Sys.old or something like that. If you can find it, you should be able to rename it back to Sys.ini.

I have both sys.old, and sys.bak in my windows folder,....?

Check the 'Created' and/or 'Modified' dates on each file and then rename the file that has been created or modified most recently.

Asylum70 has advised that this is now fixed
