i have an evaluation copy of windows 2000 that i would like to now remove so i can go back to win98. Seems like an odd choice i know but this is an old computer (P1 133) and is being given to a friend for web use and word processing. Dont really think i get the 'best' from this computer with 2k coz its running at the minimum spec for 2k.

Was it an upgrade evaluation? If so you should be able to uninstall it from Add/remove in the control panel.
