hello,
i came across a 99' computer with a 400mhz celeron processor. everything works and it even has upgraded ram and a hard drive. How do i get it setup for windows 98..i have the disk but when i turn it on it says incorrect boot device please select another.

Goto bootdisk.com and download a Win98 floppy boot disk. Now boot from that and select "Boot with CD Support" If you need to Format (Wipe hard disk first) then see this How to Format Your Hard Disk

OK reboot the PC and hit either the DEL key or F8 key to get into the system BIOS. From there you can change the boot sequence order of the hard disk and CD-ROM. Make sure CD-ROM is set to boot first then save changes and exit. Now when the PC boots back up make sure the Win98 CD is in the CD Drive and it should hopefully boot and launch setup.
