i was cleaning out folder..and one siad, in order to delete you sut set video setting to setting X(i forgot) so it did it automaticly..and ever since then..my windows will boot up untill the actuly windows will load..like it goes through the set up the little windows 98 tihn pops up after that..jsut black screen

ive tried evrything i could in safe mode to fix it but it wont work..HELP!

In my last 9 years of supporting Windows 95/98, I've never heard of any file that needs you to change the video setting in order to delete it - there's no reason why that would make any difference.

..... unless you were deleting the graphics card driver files ?!!

What folder was you "cleaning out" ?
