I have p-3,333mhz prosser,and 20 GB hard disk,installed win 2000,my problem,while installing any software or after installation(VB,orcale,java etc),i will get following error,
" instruction '0x77fc9906' referered memory at "0x7c54144c" the memory could't be written"
i tried with formating whole disk,alo tried with 98,me,2000 pro,then also i am getting same error

If you've formatted the hard disk AND tried different operating systems, then it sounds very much like faulty memory (RAM) inside your PC. No fix for that - simply need to replace it (most memory is cheap these days so it's not normally a big deal).

Do you know whether you have one RAM module inside the PC or several? If you've got several, try removing them and just running one at a time. If the problem continues, take that RAM module out and try another. That will identify if you have one faulty module that needs to be replaced

Ah, but if you're running a Pentium II 333MHz processor, you're probably also using SDRAM or even SIMMs - these are now more expensive than modern DDR RAM.
