I just built a pc with an ASUS motherboard Athlon XP 2800 cpu Kingston 256 ram WD 80Gb hdd and an LG cd-rw drive, all new components. I installed XP pro and the installation went fine. Then I tried to install device drivers off the cd sent with them and I can't access anything on the cd-rom. When ever I put a disc in it gives me "Windows XP Setup: Please go to the Control Panel to install and configure system components" I try to access files or run executables off the cd drive and it always errors out. I can access the internet to dowload drivers and run applications dowloaded. I can explore the cd and have even tried copying files from cd to hard drive without luck. All device drivers are installed, all settings appear to be correct. I've tried different discs, different cd-rom drives, even wrote zeros to hard drive and reinstalled windows. Any ideas?

It was issue with the motherboard. Sending it in for replacement. Thanks for your help.
