hey everyone. ive just decided a few days ago im going to upgrade my ram and my video card,but first,i wanna know what the 128 or 256 mb on the video card matters. what r the benefits of having 256 instead of 128? plz help,ty

Well, just like your system memory (RAM), more graphics memory means it can handle more intensive stuff without slowing down. 256Mb of graphics memory is better for the latest intensive gaming, video editing, image editing, etc.

If you don't do any of that stuff, then even a 16Mb AGP graphics card ought to be ample.

When buying a good graphics card for gaming, it's worth considering what chipsets they use - some games are only compatible with certain chipsets. I really like the ATi Rage 128 and Radeon chipsets though many would argue that the nVidia Geforce or others are better for gaming.
