So basically I am thinking of building a computer and I have found parts I would like to use. Only problem is, I have no idea if it will all work together! I wish I could answer it myself, but I don't know how to tell if parts will work together. Here is a list of the components I am going to use:
Case: Amazon.co.uk: Nzxt Phantom
Motherboard:*ASUS Rampage III Extreme ROG - X58 - Socket 1366 - DDR3 (2200 OC) - SLi/Xfire - USB3 - SATA 6Gbps - SATA 3Gb/s*6 - HD Audio (8-channel) - Gigabit Ethernet - ATX:Amazon:Computers & Accessories
Processor:*Intel® Core
Cooler:*Titan TTC-NK85TZ/CS2(RB) Fenrir Evo CPU Cooler:Amazon:Computers & Accessories
RAM:*Corsair HX3X12G1333C9 6 x 2GB DDR2 SDRAM Memory:Amazon:Computers & Accessories
Video card:*Play.com (UK): DVDs, Music CDs, MP3s, Video Games, Books, Electronics & Gadgets - Free Delivery
DVD reader/writer:*LG CH08 Internal SATA BD-ROM/DVD Rewriter Drive | Dixons |
Also, is there anything else I need, apart from screen? Sorry, I'm not too good with computer parts

You need to define your needs, and set your budget. Also, if you look on the ASUS webpage for your board, it will have links to the QVL (qualified vendor list) for both compatible RAM and CPUs.
I don't see listed a PSU. This should be your last decision to ensure you have enough power for the hardware you buy.
Also don't see a keyboard, mouse, and most importantly, an operating system. Note most Windows licenses are NOT transferable to new computers.
Finally, understand that Intel warranties its retail CPU that come packaged as a unit. That is, for the warranty to remain valid, you must use the supplied cooler and not a 3rd party cooler.
