Hey there I have a cracked LCD screen an I want to do it myself but I am having trouble getting the Front Bezel Off at the bottom I know you w\ill probably tell me to take it to a proffesional but I cant afford that so I am gonna have to do it myself so any suggestions would be great the top and the sides of the bezel popped off very easily but cant get the bottom to budge please any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Its a laptop jim so as far as I can tell, a cracked screen on a laptop is non-enduser fixable. I know you don't want to hear it but you need to take it to a professional. If you've never taken a laptop apart its not a good idea to start with a newer one because they are built alot differently than you can think. THat bezel might be holding a small part that connects the screen to the base of the laptop. Most of the times, its just better to get a new laptop

Oh it's always a bit of fun to take apart a laptop! Replacing the screen is not as hard as everyone thinks, it's a common misconception that it's evil in there.
Usually the front bezel comes off, usually there are some screws under some rubber feel around the screen. That comes off, and you can unscrew the screen from the back of the lid.
You'll then need to find out any model or part numbers off it and order another, perhaps look on the bay of e...
It'll be a flat ribbon connector connecting the screen down into the insides of the machine.

If it's cracked and fully broken, you've got nothing to lose by trying

really? lol but in all honesty, I think that you should still take it to a shop. But if you feel comfortable with taking apart your laptop, then by all means go ahead.
