I have an older Dell computer that has usb 1 ports, 2 in front and four in back. I know I can add usb 2 by using a usbpci card. Is there a way to change out the usb ports in front to usb 2. I know you can buy a front panel usb2 and install that but I wanted to take the existing ports from the front panel and replace them. Can this be done and if so how?

The existing ports can't be upgraded that I know.
