The time has come to 'get rid of' my 8 year old desktop tower PC!
I require a new PC that handles constant video editing and DVD production and would like the system to last a few years (i.e have the potential for upgrading and expanding).
I have app. £1,100 to spend on a bespoke PC. Can any one give me suggestions on the motherboard, CPU, RAM, Graphics card, PSU and anything else I may need to build such a PC (maybe with the online store PC Specialist in mind) I am also not a huge fan of Vista and would prefer XP, any one got thoughts on this?

On the software front, I use Nero 8, along with a very very old version of Adobe Premier (6.0!) for my video/DVD editing. Any suggestions on similar packages that do the same job, or is Nero good enough to stay with?
