It should not be running 100% but if there are no ill affects then forget about it.

Perhaps the upgraded RAM is just forcing the CPU to work harder.

That service is for indexing and it is mixing the functions of your CPU/RAM/HDD.

What is your page file on the HDD and how much free space do you have?

    The Windows XP Page File

As for the security issue, i really don't think I have any problems, perhaps an error in my ActiveX or somewhere else messing with "it"?

    hey man,

    Your log was moved here:

Dell 2400 are basically OK. I've had to replace the DVD/CD drive on a few. These models are at least 5 years old; perhaps older. There is only room for one internal hard drive. Otherwise the price appears OK.

With the PC I am trading for, would be able to play games like company of heros etc.
or have a better performance than I have now?

(You wouldn't know how to ship my 360 to this person (vise versa) without being completely skrewed would ya?)

What are you using now? You mean the 360? If so I don't know the 360.

The 2400 has many options so from a distance it is hard to tell what the CPU is or how much RAM is installed. The graphics card is an old PCI.

I would check the minimum requirements of the games and compare them to the 2400:

    Documentation

You should ask the seller what the particular specs are of his machine.

As for shipping UPS is about the cheapest option. Any "mail-center" in your area should have a "UPS desk".

    Well,

The only thing he changed on his PC is the CD rom, the rest of his specs are stock.

But I don't know if his PC even works so I need to run test and scans. But he won't ship because I'm guessing there isn't anyway to secure your item from being jacked if someones item doesn't work. For example, if I shipped my 360 to him, then he shipped his PC to me and it doesn't work, Im skrewed?

He wants me to drive down there (3 hours, drive there and back) but his PC has service pack 1, so he doesn't have the internet, or he'd have sp2 or 3.
