Changing Graphics card

Changing Graphics card
Hi Guys,
I am using an AGP ATI X1950 Pro Grahics card on a Asrock 4CoreDuel-Sata2 R2 Motherboard. The MB has a Graphic PCI slot as well, so I can install a PCI graphics card instead if I want. The ATI card is a bit wobbly in the agp slot so I was thinking of changing it for a PCI graphics card. This one [ Saphire Radeon HD4670 GDDR4 ]. I was wondering if this card was actually compatable with my asrock MB or do all PCI cards just fit in a pci graphics card slot. Sorry to have gone on a bit to explain.

Yes it will work. PCI_E x16 slot is standard.
However that card is PCI_E 2.0 and although "backwards compatible" with PCI_E 1.0 it will just not work at its full potential.
The PSU minimum on that card is 400Watts and ideally it should be a PCI_E ready PSU with the proper power leads. 6 pin PCI_E.

Thank you Jephree for that advice. Much appreciatted. My PSU is actualy 580Watts. Sorry I left that bit of important info out. I have been using it on this board for a few weeks so far. I have been getting some funny freezes and I changed the heatsink to a better one. as you might be aware, these duel processors have sort of 4 legs you retain to the motherboard. Had I known that beforehand, I would never have touched them at all. I cannot even play Black hawk down on this as the screen becomes like I am having a Migrain lol. Very bad, so something is not right.
Cheers.

Not sure I follow but CPU heatsink/fans are based on the socket type as to mounting.
An Intel 775 socket has four "legs" that lock into the four holes in the motherboard.
All four need to be securely locked in if that is what you refer to.
