I think I'm over clocking, but I'm not sure.

I started my computer up today and I was given an "Over heating" error. "Press F1 to continue". So I did that, and everything was working fine, until my computer started to Freeze quite frequently, and my monitor started to bug out.

My video card gets amazing hot while the computer is turned on. I've used compressed air cans to clean out the inside of dust, yet it still is getting really hot. I have no idea what I did

If you don't know if you over clocked your graphics card then you probably didn't unless you where playing around in the graphics control panel. Try going into that and revert to the default settings. Is the fan on the gpu working? Have you tried your cpu heat sink? You might have to remove the fan to remove all of the dust. Have you done anything to your computer lately? Go into your BIOS when booting up and look for anykind of temperture readings & fan speeds. Does this happen during normal use or does it happen during heavy graphics or cpu use, such as when playing a game?

You could also go into BIOS and reset it. This will remove all overclocking-effects

Probably not for graphics cards but just for CPU, RAM etc.

You can use http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php to monitor the temperature of your CPU, chipset, etc as well as your fan speeds if support for this is built into the motherboard & RiviaTuner for your graphics card.
