    eSATA installation

    What do I need to install eSATA hardware in my PC. According to HP my PC can accomadate the system, but do not know what I would need to install (Card/software?) Also where would I find info?
    eSATA technology is entirely new to me. Just acquired an external Disc storage ("GForce) which has USB2.o & eSATA capabilities.

    ps: not sure if I am in proper section for this question.

    The simplest and cheapest option is an ‘esata bracket’ if your motherboard (MB) has an available internal sata port. Several USB/ESATA external enclosures that I purchased included such a 1x bracket (one currently in use) which simply provides a simple bracket and cable solution to connect to my MB:

    If you do not have any available internal sata ports on your motherboard, you can obtain that functionality from an ‘esata card’ in either PCI or PCI-Express versions (1x, 2x, or more) – see user reviews for more info:
