Hi puy_sandisk and welcome to D-A-L

will the motherboard take any more ram?
    what make/model machine is it?

you may be lucky and find a P3 chip

as a guess the machine is about 9/10 years old

I think a new CPU will be hard to find, most likely used, and won't help a lot. More RAM, when starting with a small amount, like 128Mb is almost always the best bang for the dollar. Then a better graphics solution. The problem then becomes power - does the power supply got enough horsepower to meet the added demands of more and more power hungry hardware.

    What version of Windows?
