    Motherboard speaker

I want to connect a speaker to my PC's motherboard to hear BIOS code beeps. What impedance should the speaker be, e.g. 8 ohms, 32 ohms, ?

    Thanks

Well, it would not be 32, maybe 8. Are you sure your case does not already have one? If not, check out this.

Thanks Digerati! I found the same link. No specs though. My case (Antec Solo, P182) has no speaker. I'd prefer a non-pizeo speaker for a "higher fidelity" ;-) BIOS beep code.

Higher fidelity? I sure hope you are kidding.

There will not be any specs - motherboard speakers comply with ATX standards and the connector is all you have to worry about.
