    This is a nice deal:

Micro Center - Platinum XTC 2GB PC-3200 DDR Memory Kit (Two 1GB DDR-400 Memory Modules)

OCZ is a good manufacturer as well.

Last 3 Questions. Lets say I wanted to play a game that Reccomended 2.0 GHZ and my CPU is only 1.8 but my gfx card matches up to standards and ram...any problem there?

Also I Saw a processor i could buy somewhere Sempron 3600+ thats like 3.5, 3.6 GHZ i would buy it but in my motherboard is has a do not remove tab on the cpu area. Any problem here?

About the Ram Is it a Deal money wise as in Rebate Or Quality.

Also what is the diffrence between buying just two of these
Micro Center - Select 1GB PC-3200 DDR DIMM Memory Module

    Then just buying this one
Micro Center - Select 2GB PC-3200 DDR Dual Channel Memory Kit (Two 1GB DDR-400 Memory Modules)

As to RAM I am second guessing after looking at the motherboard manual

This is what you currently have:

    Slot 1: 512MB PC3200
    Slot 2: 128MB PC2100

When you mix speeds everything goes to the lowest: PC2100 in this case.

Your motherboard specs DDR 333 which is PC2700

DDR 400 is PC 3200 and although you have that now the other stick is dropping it to PC2100.

So I would say to be safe stick with DDR333 or PC2700.

This is both but I've never heard of the manufacturer:

Micro Center - 1GB PC-3200/2700 DDR Memory Module

    Here is Crucial:

Micro Center - Crucial 1GB PC-2700 DDR Memory Module

Again you want two of these.

As to CPU that "Do Not Remove" was most likely a warranty security which I don't imagine exists anymore.

Both links you supplied state as to CPU:

Socket 754 for AMD Athlon64(K8)/Sempron processor

    Socket 754 for AMD Athlon™ 64/Sempron™ processor

An interesting check would be to examine the latest BIOS to see if they upgraded the CPU specs.

I couldnt exactly find that power requirement for the gfx card so i will post the site to find it.

Eagle Tech Cool Power 500W Intel & AMD ATX Standard Power Supply

also here the sticker on the side of my psu

    http://eagle-techusa.com/images/prod...PSCP500/5b.jpg

the GMWP500 is what i have.

    I Guess i had a 500Wpsu then a 400W

That sticker is showing a 400Watt model. 18Amps on the combined +12Volt rails.

The 500Watt model has 26Amps on the same.

Looking between 8600 cards and 8500 or 8400 I see either requiring 18A or 22A depending on the model.

The amount of Memory does not appear to affect this but only the GPU type i.e. 8600/8500/8400

I'd hate to back off an 8600 (basically the same price) just for an Amp spec but then again that is the spec.

I will post this and hope to have more time soon to explore this amp spec and how 'sure' one needs to be in this regard.

    Let me clarify.

That sticker is not the exact one on the side of my psu But its one like it.

On my psu it has the same readings on the GMWP500 column on ithat sticker and had the same little red mark on GMWP500 which i assumed ment that was the one i had.

Nevermind all that i misread your post i will wait

Cool. The 8600 should be fine then.

The original one I linked has the most memory @ 1GB.

You will note from my last link that some have less memory and are a bit cheaper but not much.
